Newark police cordoned off a three block perimeter as they searched for a man who opened fire on officers Sunday night. Police were called out to multiple shooting incidents Thursday. NEWARK —  Newark police are searching for information on a spate of shootings that erupted Thursday night. Just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to North Munn Avenue after receiving a call that several people had been shot. Just before 8:30 p.m. police responded to a reported shooting on Frelinghuysen Avenue. Then just before 9 p.m. police were called out to a third shooting on Leslie Street. In all, four people were wounded and treated at Beth Israel and East Orange General Hospitals, according to information released by Police Sgt. Ronald Glover. An Irvington man died in another shooting in Newark Thursday afternoon. Police were told that the Frelinghuysen Avenue shooter fled in a Dodge Ram. He goes on to explain that he was married before and had a daughter while in that marriage. Toms River — Organizers have decided to shift the annual Toms River Halloween Parade from Oct. 31 to the Saturday before Halloween. The Ocean County community and neighboring communities have observed trick-or-treating on Oct. 30 for 75 years. But organizer Carl Weingroff tells the Asbury Park Press  the shift will allow more surrounding towns to participate in the parade. Toms River officials say moving the parade to Saturdays will increase police overtime for crowd control. This year the event will be staged on Oct. 26. Another life gone, just because he was asking someone for help. This is very disturbing to me that the world we live in became so scary that we have to be afraid of everyone, even if they are not trying to harm us. Now we have to be afraid to even ask a stranger for help, not knowing what their reaction may be toward us.  This senseless violence has to stop ! 

On September 13, 2013 Disney re-released ," The Little Mermaid", but this time Disney encourages kids to play games in the theatre during the movie with their Disney Second Screen Live app. Disney wants kids to bring along their ipads and download the Disney Second Screen Live app, which is designed to let viewers interact with the film. The app will lead sing -   alongs , games based on events in the film, behind the scenes information, and a competitive element play against fellow theater goers.  The Disney Second Screen Live app is free, but can only be downloaded on the ipad at this time.  Check out the video below

Yesterday singer Rihanna was spotted dancing out of her her hotel with her tongue out holding a Penis Purse designed by Vivienne Westwood. This black clutch purse with a gold embossed penis on the front costs about $442.   I honestly feel that it is something that really fits Rihanna's style. Because of Rihanna's unique style, her having this purse and rocking it the way she did does not surprise me at all. 

Masters of Sex  is a new series premiering on Showtime, it is a 1 hour long series about two real life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, whose research touched off the sexual revolution. Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan will be portraying Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Masters of Sex is based on a book entitled Masters of Sex : The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson , the Couple Who Taught America How to Love.  Masters of Sex will premier on Showtime , on Sunday September 29th 2013 at 10pm.
