NYC Public Schools Closed Wednesday Due to Harsh Snowstorm

New York City’s mayor Michael Bloomberg has closed NYC’s Public Schools on Wednesday in preparation for up to a foot of snow that is likely to fall in the city. The predicted snowstorm has its sights set on the Tri-State, so the mayor wants to avoid exposing students to the blizzard like conditions, which are said to occur. Even though New York City missed the blizzard like conditions over the past weekend, forecasters say they won’t be so lucky this time.

Mayor Bloomberg made the decision for NYC Public Schools to be closed, so that parents will have time to make alternate plans for students, instead of complicating this with an early dismissal.
